About the role
Performance media planning and buying: you’ll be the performance media expert, working alongside the FR Direct team, brand category managers and our media agency to translate briefs into best-in-class performance media plans, focussed on delivering our ecommerce sales target.
E-commerce trading: you’ll ensure we exceed our paid media revenue target and will obsessively look for ways to overachieve and optimise. On a daily basis, you’ll identify opportunities for incremental revenue and spend and you will optimise your existing plans to make sure conversion is maximised. You’ll balance investments across search, social, display, affiliates and retargeting to achieve maximum revenue.
PPC / Search: you’ll be a go-to specialist in PPC, with hands on experience in running search campaign execution and optimisation through the funnel, maximising ROI through continuous test and learn, and reporting to demonstrate channel performance in customer acquisition and ecommerce conversion goals. Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in search engine marketing
Retargeting through social and programmatic display: you’ll have experience in managing retargeting campaigns across programmatic display and social media, using appropriate segmentation to determine the best ad and message to encourage revisit and efficient conversion.
Full funnel thinking: whilst you’ll be focused on conversion media, this role will work alongside FR’s Category Media Managers who will focus on upper funnel. You will be required to understand awareness and consideration media, and the impact upper funnel activities have on conversion. You’ll also partner with our owner experience team to enhance our owner’s experience of Dyson, delivering more efficient performance longer term.
Media Agency: You’ll work with our media agency on a daily basis, optimising and tracking our performance media execution, providing insights and recommendations to achieve media objectives / goals.
Measurement and reporting: Ensure appropriate measurement of performance media effectiveness against target, demonstrating media effectiveness and ROI.
About You
Ideally between 4-5 years of digital marketing experience
Passionate about online & the opportunities it brings to drive brand awareness
Proven experience leading and collaborating within cross-discipline teams and agency partners
High level of communication skills both verbal and written (in English & French)
Demonstrable strategic & analytical capabilities
Ability to flex between analytical and creative thinking
Understanding of web technologies and concepts; search engines, landing page design and optimization, tools and trends.
Highly-organized and collaborative cross-functionally with the ability to work quickly to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Ability to manage multiple projects with competing timelines simultaneously
Must be adaptable to a fast-paced environment & ever-changing environment
Entrepreneurial spirit; must be able to deal with ambiguity and willing to take risks as needed.
