About us

 

The Estates IT team is aligned to the Corporate Real Estate function in order to:

 

·         Act as a single point of contact within IT for the Corporate Real Estate function

·         Lead the IT stream for the design and delivery of new offices across the world

·         Partner with IT product owners to ensure technology standards are followed (Infrastructure, Network, AV, Workstations, EUC, …)

·         Support innovation and maintain alignment with business needs

·         Lead the delivery of new Digital Workplace Services (space booking, concierge services, smart building technology, …)

·         Establish and maintain strong relationships with the business and all other areas of IT, ensuring regular communication of service requirements, service improvements, risks, service changes and service provisioning issues

 

About the role

 

Reporting to the Global Head of Estates IT, you will be responsible for reporting and project assurance across the portfolio:

 

·         Supporting the IT governance and controls including appropriate business case appraisals for all project investments.

·         Working closely with the IT programme teams to analyse project aligned to our IT strategy and plans.

·         Working with the wider portfolio management team to develop communications, including regular monthly reports on IT performance against key performance indicators and in-depth portfolio or project-specific updates as requested

·         Ensuring that programme leadership and wider stakeholders have the appropriate visibility of the status of the overall IT portfolio across all pillars.

·         Providing appropriate assurance on projects and programmes within the portfolio

·         Working to ensure the appropriate forecasting and controls are implemented in managing Dyson IT's investments and spending (including operational budgets to support Business as usual)

·         Key responsibilities include bringing in overall consistency and structure to project milestone, costs, risks and opportunities reporting

 

Key responsibilities

 

·         Manage a global project portfolio in excess of £20m

·         Help enforce Dyson’s project management standards

·         Monitors data quality in our PPM tool

·         Keep track of project plans, budgets, risks and dependences

·         Support vendor management

·         Manage supply chain and stock/inventory

·         Issue reports and status updates

·         Manage portfolio accounting (budget, forecast, actuals)

 

About you

 

·         Project Management experience (Prince2 or PMI is a plus)

·         5 to 8 years’ experience with managing a global IT project portfolio in excess of £20m

·         End-user centric and customer obsessed

·         Experience with using PPM tools (PlanView is a plus)

·         Vendor management including, RFI/RFP, procurement, as well as contract & invoice management (SAP Ariba is a plus)

·         Experience with working with globally distributed teams, onshore and offshore
