About the role
We are looking for a motivated and experienced individual to lead our Process & Systems team for Supply Chain within the Digital Supply Chain Transformation organization. This pivotal role will be responsible for shaping and maintaining the process capabilities roadmap for Logistics and third-party warehousing activities, as well as designing and implementing state-of-the-art logistics processes and systems. The ideal candidate will bring extensive knowledge of supply chain best practices and familiarity with logistics software solutions. Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain Processes & Systems, this role will play a vital part in our endeavour to optimize our logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with your key stakeholders in Global Logistics and Supply Chain to build the capabilities that are strategically and tactically important to them.
Develop and manage the process and systems capabilities roadmap for Supply Chain, driving continuous improvements and innovation.
Build and oversee a team responsible for managing logistics systems, encompassing roles such as process managers, product owners, programme and project managers, and other relevant functions; some of the roles may report to you dotted line in a project matrix.
Lead the creation and deployment of logistics best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Identify, evaluate, and implement cutting-edge logistics software solutions to streamline processes and boost operational efficiency.
Collaborate closely with the Global Director of Supply Chain and his leadership team to establish the logistics capability development roadmap and to identify opportunities for cost reduction, process enhancement, and risk mitigation.
Work collaboratively with the end-to-end business process architect for the Global Supply Chain (which also includes Planning, Procurement and Manufacturing) to ensure seamless integration of your strategies into the long-term capability roadmap.
Develop and maintain a governance framework for logistics systems to ensure compliance with logistics policies and procedures.
Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to gauge the success and adoption of logistics processes, systems, and technologies.
Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in logistics and supply chain management.
About You
Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, information technology, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred
5 to 10 years of experience leading logistics process and system transformations, preferably in a multinational organization
In-depth understanding of logistics best practices, policies, and procedures
Proficiency in logistics software solutions, such as TMS (Transportation Management System), WMS (Warehouse Management System), Order Management Systems (OMS) and other relevant logistics tools
3PL integration, B2B/ EDI, ANSI X12 messaging standards i.e. Logistics, inventory
In-depth understanding of Order-to-Cash processes, including omnichannel commerce
Proven track record in driving change management initiatives and implementing technology solutions within logistics
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, legal, and supply chain stakeholders
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, leveraging data-driven insights to guide decisions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts to senior leadership in a concise and comprehensible manner
