About us
In Digital Supply Chain Transformation, we bring together two critical levers of transformation: creating and capturing value and building the roadmap to get there. We look at opportunities for new technologies like IoT, machine learning, AI, and robotics to transform our supply chain. Our roadmap and priorities are balanced by value and risk, so that our multi-functional supply network is aligned. We want curious individuals who think differently, are open to learning from others, and have the mindset to experiment and iterate.
About the role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to lead our Process & Systems team for Supply Chain Planning as part of the Digital Supply Chain Transformation organization. This pivotal role entails end-to-end ownership of the supply chain planning process, leading a dedicated Center of Excellence (COE) team responsible for process improvement and system enhancements. Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain Processes & Systems, this role plays a vital role in shaping the future of our supply chain planning capabilities.
We are currently in the process of deploying SAP IBP as our new supply chain planning system and it will be your task to build a COE that ensures full adoption and continuous improvement of the new planning process.
Key Responsibilities:
Assume ownership of the end-to-end supply chain planning process, working closely with cross-functional stakeholders to drive excellence and efficiency.
Lead the Supply Chain Planning Center of Excellence (COE), which includes roles that report directly to you such as the Business Product Owner for our planning system (SAP Integrated Business Planning - IBP) and various IT positions which do not report to you but rely on you for cross-functional leadership and orchestration.
Collaborate with the Business Product Owner and IT leads to define and prioritize system enhancements, overseeing quarterly changes and feature implementations.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive roadmap for supply chain planning capabilities, aligning with business objectives and ensuring seamless integration into the overall supply chain strategy
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the COE to optimize planning processes, enhance accuracy, and align with business goals.
Partner closely with the various leaders that lead relevant planning teams to define the COE's strategic direction, identify opportunities for process enhancement, cost reduction, and risk mitigation.
Work in tandem with the Supply Chain Process Architect to ensure that the COE's plans align with the long-term end-to-end capability roadmap for the supply chain.
Establish and maintain a governance framework for supply chain planning systems and processes to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
Define, track, and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of supply chain planning processes and system utilization.
Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in supply chain planning and management.
Build and maintain a close relationship with SAP’s product managers and customer success partner for SAP IBP to anticipate upcoming features and influence the system roadmap to suit Dyson’s needs.
