About the role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to lead our Process & Systems team for Procurement. This role will be responsible for creating and maintaining the process capabilities roadmap for Procurement as well as the development and implementation of best-in-class procurement processes and systems.
The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of procurement best practices and be familiar with common software solutions within the procurement landscape.
The role sits within Digital Supply Chain Transformation and is a member of the Supply Chain Process & Systems leadership team.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain the process and systems roadmap for Global Procurement.
Build and lead the team to manage the procurement systems, consisting of process manager, product owners, programme and project managers and other relevant roles.
Lead the development and implementation of procurement best practices.
Identify and implement best-in-class procurement software solutions to improve procurement processes and increase efficiency.
Partner with the Global Procurement Director and Head of Procurement Excellence to create the roadmap for procurement capability development, and to identify opportunities for improvements, cost savings, and risk mitigation.
Work with the end-to-end business process architect for the supply chain to ensure full integration of your plans into the long-term capability roadmap for the supply chain.
Develop and maintain a procurement systems governance framework to ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of procurement processes and systems as well as process and system adoption.
Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in procurement and supply chain management.
About you
Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, information technology, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
5 to 10 years of experience in leading procurement process and system transformations, preferably in a large, multinational organization.
Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, policies, and procedures.
Experience with procurement software solutions, such as SAP Ariba, Coupa, Oracle, and other relevant procurement tools.
Experience in leading change management initiatives and deploying technology solutions in procurement.
Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, legal, and supply chain stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decisions.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information to senior leaders in a clear and concise manner.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple competing priorities.
