About us
Dyson Malaysia is looking to hire a Process Technician (Final Assembly) with experience in working in the assembly process to support our Process Engineering team.
About the role
Responsible to perform daily line start-up verification based on process checklists before handing over to production.
Carry out routine process control checks, quality and traceability for Final Assembly process.
Provide technical support to production operation in meeting product build quality and output capacity.
Provide first level troubleshooting & resolve production stoppages due to process issues.
Ensure all relevant documents; process checklists, work instructions are updated as required.
Work with engineer in performing DoEs to drive process optimisation and continuous improvement efforts, including consolidating and summarising of data for review.
About you
In-depth knowledge and practical experience in assembly processes which include but not limited to auto soldering and laser welding.
Good knowledge and understanding of mechanical, electrical & pneumatic systems.
Minimum 3 years experience in similar technical position.
Strong problem-solving skills exemplified by the ability to diagnose and rectify problem.
Competency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Knowledge of lean six sigma tools, basic statistical principles and software e.g. Minitab/JMP is an added advantage.
