Process Technician (Tape)

About Us

Dyson Malaysia is currently looking for a Process Technician (Tape) for our team based in MAM, Senai I-Park. You will be responsible for the seting up the process for tape batching, casting and blanking.

About The Role

• Set up process for tape batching, casting and blanking.

• Daily yield and throughput monitoring of all above process

• Able to assess quality of output from above process and troubleshooting process when necessary

• Work closely with tape equipment technician to support preventive maintenance on all equipment, monitor abnormality of production equipment and support Gauge R&R activities

• Communicate findings with respective process/equipment engineer

• Able to prepare work instruction for each process

• Lead and train operators

• To ensure compliance within the lab to legal and Dyson’s policy on occupational health & safety requirements at all times and continuously improve occupational health and safety performance.

• Practice good housekeeping of process area

• To carry out other tasks such as documentation and troubleshooting problems when required.

About You

• Minimum 3 years experience in similar technician or maintenance position handling and troubleshooting brazing equipment

• Preferably with experience from advanced ceramic component industry

• Technical brazing background

• Basic knowledge in statistic

• Able to communicate in simple English verbally and written
