About the role

Procurement Excellence provides leadership, insight, and support to the global procurement function to drive the implementation of next-generation procurement and deliver the company and procurement vision. Our ambition is to build best-in-class, harmonized and flawless practices, tools, and processes to support the Procurement Transformation program and contribute to the top line and bottom line of Dyson.

This role is instrumental in driving consistency in procurement ways of working across all procurement teams and enabling the data driven decision making culture.

  • Establish consistent Procurement ways of working across the Sourcing to Pay process that enhances overall performance.

  • Develop and implement global procurement processes and tools across the function.

  • Ensure the availability of up-to-date, integrated and consistent procurement data

  • Analyse and report procurement performance metrics.

  • Deliver best-in-class systems capabilities and optimise the end-to-end procurement process.

  • Lead, coordinate and support procurement transversal activities and projects.

Additional Responsibilities include:

  • Create, implement and manage procurement policies, processes and tools.

  • Driving continuous improvement of procurement policies, processes and tools.

  • Establish consistent Procurement ways of working across the Sourcing to Pay process.

  • Work with other process owners to ensure full integration & alignment of the Procurement process as part of the overall Business Process suite.

  • Owning the roll out, implementation & training around Procurement Policy & Process.

  • Support the optimization of procurement KPI’s and develop a data-driven culture in procurement by educating procurement colleagues

  • Ensuring compliance & governance to process, providing metrics around compliance & remediation.

  • Proactively scout for industry best practices and know-how, propose business cases for justification and implementation to continuously drive process excellence.

  • Support transversal initiatives.

About you

  • University degree; Master's degree preferred

  • Experience in Procurement

  • SAP knowledge

  • Track record in ideating and delivering large scale change initiatives

  • High level of business and financial acumen

  • Willingness to transform, challenge the status quo and resilience in execution

  • Excellent project management from strategic thinking to operational execution

  • Strong Communication and Influence skills.

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Fluent oral and written English
