Procurement Manager


China - Shenzhen Remote

Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to manage Mechanics commodities. Working in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external suppliers as well as contract manufacturers. You will strive for best- in class supplier performance, position materials for supply assurance and flexibility in meeting product launch schedule as well as SOP build plan. In addition, high independence of leading business with strategic thinking, you will develop and drive Commodity Strategy, implement sourcing plan be executed on schedule, develop& scouting local suppliers to drive China Localization. AOS management, ensure supply chain resilience.


  • Ensure adherence to the Procurement Policy and Procedures
  • Commodity Strategy development and execution
  • Solid experience of supplier management, supplier relationship establishment& maintenance, supplier business review, scorecard and segmentation
  • Capability of new supplier scouting& development, market intelligence
  • Keep driving supplier good performance in term of cost, quality, project management, on time delivery and so on
  • Good at cost management, cost negotiation, able to drive best should be cost
  • Project management, end to end project management to drive project development, ensure project on time SOP
  • Sustaining project management. Support Global GCM to drive& ensure supply chain resilience
  • Supplier Risk Management – for suppliers within the commodity, including mitigation plans and closure actions
  • Stakeholder management and communication, primarily at a senior level, internally and externally
  • Contract management


  • Full sourcing responsibility of Mechanics in term of supplier management, business& strategy development and execution, cost management, project management, AOS management, contract management
  • Multi-sourcing activities - collaborate closely with Procurement Engineering and RDD to implement alternative materials/manufacturing solutions for Mechanics design
  • Responsible for the global commodity procurement activities (end to end) for specific commodities and their sub-commodity groups within Mechanics  
  • Responsible for the assigned Mechanics Commodity Strategy, develop, constantly review and maintain its relevance to the Procurement Blueprint, technology roadmap, market trends and forces, both globally and within region/locality
  • Responsible to complete supplier risk assessment including mitigation plans and closure actions
  • Manage supplier relationship, conduct supplier business review, complete scorecard and segmentation
  • Commodity market intelligence – responsible for gathering and informing stakeholders of the relevant market/supplier intelligence; globally, regionally and locally
  • Responsible for “End to End” performance of the commodity


  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in Procurement (preferably in Mechanics commodity)
  • Preferable at least a basic degree in Business related fields and or any Engineering discipline
  • High independence of leading business, strategic thinking, be logic
  • Good adaptability and able to manage workload effectively
  • Well organized, systematic approach, ability to manage & resolve complex problem.
  • Good analytical skill and diplomatic behavior
  • Exposure to cross-functional working and leading cross-functional teams
  • Willingness to learn
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced organization with the ability to adapt with the required changes and to support the growth of organization
  • Good English speaking
  • Must possess high level of integrity, honest and with trustworthy personality
  • A good team player. Must be able to communicate with all level of people
  • Possess leadership and administrative capability
  • Understands and operates Supplier Relationship & Performance Management
