Product Owner


Design and Development
Philippines - Alabang Office
  •  Product Owners (PO) engages internally with SW teams and align with the PM and RTE. And will often also interface directly with  Stakeholders, Users and Customers to understand what problems in their area of responsibility need to be solved and then work with the  engineering teams to define solutions and order of execution.
  • Accountable to ensure we are building the right product. Act as the team’s voice of the customer, always reflecting the

product intent and stakeholder’s vision

  • Translates the customer’s vision into clearly defined pieces of software development to realize the product vision
  • Works alongside the product manager and manages the risks and issues around development
  • Accountable to maintain the team backlog by continual refinements and prioritization to match the stakeholder’s needs, particularly in preparation for PI planning including interdependencies with other POs
  • Accountable to collaborate with the team to detail stories and acceptance criteria including testing; they accept/agree completion of user stories ensuring the work meets the agreed Definition of Done and accountable to validate that delivery meets expectations. This is effectively assuring the level of quality
  • Accountable to collaborate with the team and stakeholders to demonstrate work completed in the appropriate agile ceremonies such as end-of-Sprint/PI demos.
  • Accountable to understand the scope of the upcoming enabler work and collaborate with System and Solution Architects/Engineering to assist with decision-making and sequencing of the critical technological infrastructures that will host the new functionality.
  • Accountable to align and coordinate delivery across SW teams validating the integrated system works as a whole
  • Leads technical delivery of requirements into code to standards and level of quality set by them through the Definition of Done, collaborating with the Tech lead and Architects with context to facilitate and record requirement gathering. Own/contribute to team/departmental level initiatives & change projects
  • Represents agile and scrum team at a senior level and in external forums, communicating progress.
  • May have line management responsibility for other agile roles within the team
  • Problem space and accountability is with a few scrum teams in an ART focused on a product category and can span across to other ARTs for a software feature where interactions and dependencies need to be proactively managed to realize the product vision.
