We have been developing product software at Dyson using agile practices for several years. More recently, to support fast growth, we have been following the scaled agile framework (SAFe). We are looking for Product Owners with proven experience and a drive to make a difference in a dynamic and challenging environment.

About the role

As a Product Owner at Dyson you will work with one or two teams delivering embedded software for a range of exciting products. As Product Owner you will define stories and priorities for the team backlog, you will work closely with the Product Manager to define the program backlog and prepare for program increment planning. You will work with the extended Product Owner community, including PM’s to improve and share your practices.

Working within an embedded software environment, you will have an in-depth understanding of technical aspects, and you will be able to quickly pick-up new concepts and be comfortable with portraying technical information.

Ideally, you will have experience of working in a similar organisation and bring with you a wealth of ideas and the drive to make a difference within a dynamic and challenging environment.

About You


  • Scrum agile experience 

  • Experience of the Product Owner role in a fast-moving environment

  • Able to translate complex features into a refined and achievable backlog

  • Ability to manage changes successfully

  • Able to communication clearly with multiple stakeholders 


  • Experience following Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)

  • Use of Atlassian tool suite (JIRA, Confluence)

  • Embedded software development experience
