About the role

We are looking for an experienced Product Technician to join our team with the ability to work cross functionally, prioritise and make things happen. Supporting the business to manufacture Dyson Digital Motor, this person should be excited about the challenges and growth that this opportunity will give to them.

  • Assist in Engineering evaluations in conduct in-depth process capability studies for Productivity and Quality improvement using DOE and GR&R.

  • Using Data analysis software to identify the root cause of the issues.

  • Assist in Product Failure Analysis and Root Cause Finding.

  • Assist in executing control build from requirement of New Product Introduction, New Component.

  • Introduction and improvement project.

  • Provide engineering & technical support to operations team to improve overall quality and yield, and work with functional groups to resolve rejects & scrap.

  • Write Document on Procedure for New Processes.

  • Practice good 5S in engineering labs.

  • Provide technical support to production operation in meeting output & quality.

  • Provide first level trouble shooting & resolve production stoppages due to process & product issues.

  • Participate in line variant conversion/set-up and line patrol activities.

  • Production Line reject verify and disposition.

  • To control and maintain the scrap according to Scrap Control Escalation Procedure/ OCAP.

  • Assist in engineering evaluations, control run, change control, root cause analysis, line Improvement Project and data gathering/ compilation.

About you

  • Education related to Electronics OR Electrical Engineering (ITE / Diploma / Degree)

  • Rotating shift 12 hour including Night shift

  • Team player and able to work independently under fast pace dynamic

  • Basic knowledge in Microsoft excel (Plot graph, collate data etc.)
