About us

Dyson’s multidisciplinary Energy Storage development team is responsible for delivering cells from early prototypes in the UK, through to volume manufacture in a Singapore plant. The cells that the team deliver will push the boundaries of performance, power density, and efficiency. These cells will drive new high value Dyson products with step improvements over our competitors. In conjunction to developing a cell, the team will be responsible for process development, equipment realisation and facility set up jointly with our manufacturing and operational teams.

About the role

The Project Coordiinator will work in close collaboration with the Energy Storage cell development team, suppliers and manufacturing team to ensure that critical equipment is being manufactured as per the specifications and delivered as per planned, where subsequently will be installed and tested in the new facility.

 

Reporting to the Senior Programme Manager, key responsibilities include the following:

Administration:

  • Coordinates with Energy Storage team material, prototype and soft tooling orders

  • Liaising with suppliers/vendors as needed

  • PO forecasting, raising, tracking and payment

  • Completing import documents, licenses and customs administration

  • Logistics management of materials e.g. managing arrival of good with goods in team

  • Supporting vendors coming on site – permits to work, site access approval, health and safety

  • Compile presentations, reports and statistical data as directed

  • Record and distribute actions/minutes as necessary

  • Management of daily requirements and priorities activities as needed

  • Proactively improve processes to maximise administrative efficiencies

  • Managing ad-hoc projects

  • Access approvals / NDA's

  • Assisting with travel bookings and requests

  • Inductions of new employees

  • Arrange meeting spaces or offsite venues as needed

  • Event planning and Catering

Other

  • Achieve a standard of excellence in our work processes and outcomes, ensuring adherence to Dyson policies and all relevant regulatory and legal requirements.

  • Promote and demonstrate Dyson behaviours.

  • Promote, implement and comply with health and safety procedures.

About you

Experience:

  • Previous experience in a coordination role

  • Superior level of skill in Microsoft suite

Skills & Competencies:

  • High level of communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to adapt to ever changing business needs

  • Well-developed interpersonal and relationship building skills

  • Excellent business presentation skills and high attention to detail

  • Ability to work calmly under pressure, work to tight deadlines and manage competing priorities.

  • Advanced Microsoft suite
