About us

The Ranges Manager is a key role in the global Marketing organisation and Floorcare team that is responsible for the co-creation and support of each Floorcare range in every market. Ranging is a critical driver in Dyson’s growth

About the role

  • Working with the Head of Product & Ranges to develop the Global Ranging strategy and launch plan for new all Floorcare SKUs across every market.

  • Implementing the Global range principles, incorporating channel and RDD requirements – ensuring these deliver against overall strategy for the category.

  • Help identify key targets with detailed, market relevant metrics to track success.

  • Support the Head of Product & Ranges in defining the global portfolio for the Floorcare category – helping to identify and how to maximise conversion and GMPU (gross margin per unit).

  • Setting out the ranging process and including workstreams, timings and deliverables in line with launch plan

  • Responsible for developing and informing range plans with markets team/local markets globally.

  • Driving clear range navigation – reviewing impacts of all products within the portfolio and the customer journey, including naming architecture, colours, graphics and packaging and kit configuration.

  • Leading the cross team of Group finance, RDD project planning, SKU management, Supply Chain and regional market teams to ensure ranges are scoped, planned and executed with all.

About you

  • You should have experience working across functions (e.g. R&D, Consumer Research, Creative) and geographies to help teams review, plan, create and deliver commercial proposals. 

  • You should be a confident communicator and comfortable managing stakeholders at all levels leading cross functional project groups.

  • You should have strong project management skills with the ability to prioritise deliverables across the category and channels in order to meet business critical deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • You should be commercially minded and be able to inform decisions with insight through your understanding of data and trends.
