ABOUT THE ROLE

This role is based in our stunning Barangaroo offices. It is a full time, permanent role forming part of a wider Dyson Administration team. As our Receptionist you will report into the Executive Assistant and work closely with our AU business.

As well as being the face of our brand, greeting and assisting visitors, you will provide general administrative support to the wider Dyson AU team and supporting the broader administrative team with ad-hoc tasks as required.

Main Accountabilities

Reception

  • Point of contact at reception, maintaining upkeep of the area and escalating items as appropriate
  • Courier, mail and delivery management
  • Execution of general office announcements

Administration

  • Assist with the coordination of events, off sites or other activities
  • Assist with international visitor coordination
  • Assist with PO processing and expense management
  • Support PA team with overflow travel coordination, calendar management or other ad-hoc administration duties

Office support

  • Organisation of catering for office events
  • General tidying of the office: meeting rooms, dishwasher, kitchen, fridge clean, storeroom
  • Stationary, kitchen and printer consumables weekly review and ordering
  • Cleaning and security review notification to Property Manager
  • Local building maintenance weekly review and management when the Property Manager is unavailable
  • Dealing with suppliers
  • Achieve a standard of excellence in our work processes and outcomes, ensuring adherence to Dyson policies and all relevant regulatory and legal requirements

ABOUT YOU

You are positive and helpful, attentive and organised. You’re solutions focused and a team player.

You’re mature and proactive; always thinking outside the box and a few steps ahead.

You have previous experience in a customer facing role with a passion for service and have worked a min. of 2 years in an administration or reception role, ideally in a corporate environment.
