Record to Report Senior Operations Manager


India - Gurgaon Office


The Dyson Business Services (DBS) organisation provides process and service excellence to support Dyson’s growth ambitions with a goal of innovating and enhancing services over time to meet the changing needs of the business.


  • Managing RTR function (Cash & Bank, Fixed Asset, Intercompany and Inventory Teams) including month end close
  • Focusing on the complete, accurate and timely completion of accounting transactions
  • Manage relationships with Internal Control Team and External Auditors and support the audit process, ensuring timely completion of audit requirements and resolution of any audit findings
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and standardization within the R2R function, leveraging technology and best practices
  • Identify opportunities for automation and system enhancements to streamline R2R processes and improve efficiency
  • Acting as point of contact for all process/people related escalations 
  • Monitor KPIs to track the performance of the R2R function, and implement corrective actions as needed
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and development to ensure high performance and career growth for individuals in the team


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CA/CPA or equivalent professional certification preferred
  • Minimum of 15 years’ experience in Record to Report function and at least 6 years in people management role overseeing an RTR function
  • Business partnering experience with multiple stakeholders across the organization
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to details
  • Ability to work in dynamic environment, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation
  • Experience in driving change management and process optimization initiatives within an R2R function
  • Candidate possessing knowledge of SAP S4, Blackline preferred
