About the role
Reporting to the Regional Demand & Sales Planning Director, the Regional Demand Planning Leader will be instrumental as a strategic differentiator in support of Dyson’s growth and customer experience. This is an exciting new role to drive unbiased demand led planning, bringing the outside in, to ensure high quality and accuracy in the Global Revenue organization’s planning efforts.
You will be responsible for managing and optimizing the demand planning processes regionally, engaging with multi-functional teams at both regional & market level.
Key Responsibilities
Lead transformation of current process & ways of working to deliver a new Operating Model for “best in class” demand planning across the EMEA region.
Drive both an operational & strategic agenda, acting as a change agent to enable the growth agenda of the business and its strategic priorities.
Be the voice of demand planning function & play an active role in the Regional Integrated Business Planning process.
Demand Forecasting: Utilize historical data, market trends, and inputs from sales and marketing teams to ensure markets develop accurate and timely bottom-up demand forecasts for products or services across global markets (based on validated assumptions collected during monthly cycle). Analyse demand patterns and identify factors that may impact demand fluctuations. Collaborate with market demand planners to consolidate forecasts and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
Design & implement Reasonability tools & market touchpoints to deliver against the principles of 50/50 demand management.
Deploy standardized processes and solutions across the full portfolio that bring agility & flexibility to changes in market demand & dynamics.
Proactively monitor and strives to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in the organization’s planning efforts
Coordinate planning activities with other functions and stakeholders within the company
Proactively identify opportunities for demand planning process improvement. Overall lead a culture of continuous improvement in the end-to-end planning process
Collaborate closely with Supply Chain to support them in delivering perfect balance in service (avoid shortage), cash (optimal inventory level at SKU level), cost (lower cost to deliver)
Performance Analysis and Reporting: maintain and communicate a suite of relevant KPI’s with a strong focus behind RCA and continuous improvement, communicated to key stakeholders in a meaningful way.
Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance demand planning processes, methodologies, and tools. Identify opportunities to streamline processes, increase forecast accuracy, and improve collaboration across teams. Stay updated with industry best practices and incorporate them into demand planning practices.
Implements enabling technologies and/or support deployment of global solutions in the region (statistical forecast, … to improve forecast accuracy)
Build a network across markets to share & reapply best practice.
About You
In depth knowledge of demand management and proven track record of delivering results in complex environments.

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field
+7/8 years of proven experience in demand planning, supply chain management, and solid knowledge in inventory management
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and strategic thinking skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools
Proficiency in demand planning software and statistical forecasting techniques
Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
