Description

Reporting to the Regional Digital and Performance Lead, this role will be instrumental in delivering organic search revenue growth for the APAC region. Help our consumers find what they are looking for easily by identifying SEO gaps across technical, content and links. Working with both global and local SEO teams to support APAC be best in class for top revenue driving keywords to maximise organic search real estate.

You will be part of the CoE team, working within the media team, bringing our highly innovative technologies and differentiated experiences to the APAC region.

Function Overview

This role is a mix of reporting SEO performance in the APAC region, supporting markets drive SEO in market whilst engaging a number of various stakeholders within the business which would include Communications, Digital Demand, Ecommerce, Content and IT

This role will require a self-starter with excellent project management skills and the ability to build strong relationships in multiple cross functional teams.

Accountabilities

  • Report SEO performance for the APAC region & contribute to weekly trade meetings
  • Drive APAC SEO search strategy alongside global SEO team
  • Develop actionable plans to improve SEO performance in region via both technical and content SEO
  • Helps retention through ease of finding information via search engines
  • Support the development of a One Search strategy across paid and organic
  • Developing content strategies based on deep understanding of the consumer journey and search intent
  • Support local markets with requests for maintenance of site content when requested by Global Content team
  • Working closely with various stakeholder functions within the business and representing APAC SEO needs at global forums
  • Support markets with their SEO agencies to ensure that recommendations are both relevant, consistent and actionable
  • Be an internal advocate for best practice SEO sharing insight & SEO training to the wider APAC teams

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

Experience

Skills/Competencies

  • Minimal 5 years of experience in eCommerce or content, with specific experience with CMS and SEO
  • Strong technical SEO knowledge, including Schema application, redirection strategy and hreflang application. And must comfortable guiding Product Owners and developers on platform and UX enhancements to improve SEO hygiene
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to operate in a global matrix structure with a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Confident presenting strategy clearly and jargon-free to help drive meaningful enhancements
  • Proven experience in turning data into engagement strategies that inform new content, optimise existing content and evaluate past content
  • Experience working with Magento 2 or similar Content Management Systems
  • Strong analytics skills versed with Google Analytics & Adobe Analytics
  • Extensive experience with SEO tools inc SEMrush, Botify, ahrefs etc
  • Working knowledge of CSS and HTML
  • A positive approach to problem solving, collaboration and influencing others
