About the Role

Job summary 

Dyson has the wider category of products that will keep expanding and all of them have the superiority than the conventional products. However, Japanese retail environment is quite unique and filled with overwhelming communication for the shoppers by competitors and retailers. To deliver the truth of our superiorities to the shoppers, we need a dominant in-store presence, simple, premium, and informative displays to provide the best product experiences. 

On top of the physical retail, it’s becoming inevitable to have the strong presence in digital communication to connect with shoppers at each funnel and develop online/offline seamless shopper journey. 

We are looking for Senior Retail Marketing Executive with the expertise of how to produce and execute the quality of display fixtures and digital executions into the Japanese electrical retailers and department stores retaining the global consistency.  

That person needs to be good at project execution with the wider scope and accuracy in detail. The communication needs to be articulate both in written and verbal for Japanese and English and well organised to work with all stakeholders. We expect this person to be self-driven with the agility and quality under the direction even in some ambiguity. 

This position will sit in the Retail Marketing Team and reports to the Senior Retail Marketing Manager. 


In-store MD planning, production, delivery, guideline and execution tracking 

  • 3D display fixtures – Shop in Shop, Category fixtures, Demonstration fixtures. 
  • 2D print items – Brochure, Poster, Panel, banner, seasonal promotion POS, etc. 
  • Film – In-store video contents 

Event planning and production 

  • POP up In-store event production, Public space event (Electrical retailer, Department store, etc…) 


  • Retailers’ web site activation support for Environmental Control and Lighting categories. 


  • In-store shopper research, competitor research for our strategy development 

Operational and administration work 

  • Vendor management 
  • Translation copy check JPN<>English 
  • POS item management 
  • Excel work 

Key stakeholders to work with 

  • Retail marketing, Brand, Sales, Creative, Marketing Operations, SCM, Global retail, External vendors 

About You

Skills and Expertise what we are looking for: 

  • Excellent project management experience as the owner. 
  • 2 - 3 years experiences of Sales promotion material production, 3D fixture, 2D print, Film 
  • Experience to work with Global team to optimize global consistency for Japanese market 
  • Knowledge about display fixtures, materials, structure, design and its cost 
  • Vendor management 
  • Proof reading 
  • Strong communication skills in Japanese and business level English. 
  • Collaboration work with other departments. 
  • Detailed and accurate administration work with Excel and PowerPoint.
