About the Role
As a Dyson Retail Assistant, you will deliver outstanding retail experiences that fascinate shoppers through the presentation and demonstration of our machines, whilst educating on hair science.
Reporting to the Regional Manager, our Retail Assistants are responsible for both sales and experience. At Dyson we say that our products are bought, not sold. That doesn't mean we don't sell anything, what this means is that we get to know our customers, we understand their needs, we give a 5-star service and with every purchase we strive to make the customer's life easier and better. To be suitable in this role, you will be required to work every Saturday and Sunday.
Main Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Deliver hands on hair styling demonstrations with our customers, showcasing the unique benefits of Dyson products across the Beauty range - styling customer's hair based on their hair type and desired result
Taking personal responsibility for achieving individual KPI whilst delivering a high standard of customer service
Maintain a high standard of visual merchandising in your area, always looking for opportunities to increase Dyson in-store presence
Build strong relationships with store management and staff
About You
You will have an understanding of retail principles such as in-store presentation standards and will be comfortable working towards sales targets. You will have a keen interest in the beauty and hair industry, with the ability to communicate how our hair care machines work differently, with a confidence in styling both your own hair and that of customers. A high standard of personal presentation and excellent customer service is paramount.
The successful candidate will have:
Availability for permanent weekend work
A confident approach and a friendly, engaging manner
Experience within the hair or beauty industry is advantageous
Time management skills and the ability to work autonomously
Customer service and/or sales experience is preferred
Excellent communication and customer engagement skills
Determination, passion and drive for results
