About the role
Sitting within the Retail Sales Team, your main role as a Retail Analyst will be to manage the operational sales reporting and planning system. You will manage everything from setting the sales reporting dashboard, to preparing and managing KPI targets, and reporting this back to the business.

Our Retail Sales teams are experts who bring the retail world up to speed. Training. Introducing our new technology. And ensuring the Dyson brand stands out. We gain deep insights into competitors and customers alike, driving national sales strategies to bring Dyson technology into more stores and homes. It’s an energetic team in a fast-paced retail environment.
Accountabilities
We need to make what we do out in the field, and with our retailers, more efficient. By gathering intelligence, analysing information and reporting on how we’re performing – you’ll be able to flag up where our challenges and opportunities lie.
Responsibility for the operational sales reporting and planning system
Create a sales reporting dashboard
Prepare and manage KPI targets and check if the teams are hitting them
Make recommendations for improvement, general maintenance and cleansing
Ensure ad-hoc reporting and data analysis and provide insights and support to the remote-based retail team
Report on current business results with focus on providing context to multiple stakeholders and assisting in finding solutions and improvements
Conduct deep dive analysis and provide regular insights in all aspects of the digital journey to recognize trends in performance with the goal of improving the conversion rate of key customer journeys and digital channels
Investigate specific issues and propose solutions by analysing data from a wide range of sources including digital analytics data
Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the customer journey on all sites, taking into account external best practices and current and future trends
Support in A/B-Testing by providing hypotheses based on your findings and assist the corresponding teams with analysis
Assist in forecasting and planning as well as building strategy and product specific sell-out plans
Contribute to the growing insight-based and data driven culture
Support the maintenance and enhancements of the insight tools/platforms
About you
University degree in Economics with a major in Sales or other business/analytical discipline
1-3 years experience in sales analytics
Ability to identify new opportunities based on customer insight and data
An understanding of how analytics can be used to improve sales experience and performance
Ability to distil complex analytics into simple themes that are appropriate for non-technical stakeholders
Ability to flag issues and trends, and make recommendations that will enhance performance
Excellent communication and presentation skills at all stakeholder levels
Well organised with a systematic approach to work and close attention to detail
Ability to prioritise workloads and meet project deadlines
Confident with the ability to work proactively and autonomously
Excellent interpersonal skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multi-task
Proactive, hands-on, problem-solving working approach and a team player
Advanced excel skills (SQL and SAP knowledge is a an advantage)
Fluent English and Spanish
