The Dyson Institute of Engineering and Technology is a new model for education combining the academic rigour of a traditional university with hands-on and real-world experience of working inside a global technology company. The James Dyson Foundation was founded in 2002 and the charity works internationally to empower aspiring engineers, support engineering in education and invest in medical research. The James Dyson Award is the Foundation’s annual international design competition and is open to current and recent design and engineering students. Since starting in 2005, the Award has supported nearly 250 inventions, providing funds to support their commercialization.

About the role

The Sales Order Executive will play a crucial role in supporting SOP Manager based in Istanbul. They are responsible for the daily, weekly and monthly order to cash process.

This role will be limited for 12 months.

Main responsibilities

  • Managing the 3PL to ensure performance for order dispatch is within contract

  • Identifying process changes for improving the OTC function, optimizing cost and increasing productivity. Ensure Continuous Improvement mentality is championed and implemented

  • Ensuring all processes are optimized, documented and followed

  • Retail customer order management: Releasing orders for delivery in line with any allocations provided. Securing booking slots and arrange deliveries on time. Being the POC for Key Account team, 3PL and retailers on all order book issues

  • Manage sample order request and ensure that process is followed according the Dyson Procedures

  • Ensuring retail customer credit management, pricing management, and management of related disputes/charges is carried out in a timely manner

  • Ensuring that the sop order book is managed with the market & 3PL to ensure outbound capacity

  • Ensure the processing of eCommerce orders in SAP, ensuring order correctness and completeness for delivery creation where not covered by the contact center

  • Managing any direct order queries, where not covered by the Contact Centre. POC for Contact Centre on direct delivery queries. Investigation and feedback on last mile failures

  • Guaranteeing returned orders are completed on time, customers are refunded, stock is reconciled, and error/fraud in exchanges are fixed

  • Ensuring the invoicing process is complete and on time and resolve related issues

  • Manage owner claims/complaints and ensure the solutions are provided in line with Dyson standards

  • Relish the opportunity to pick up new activities that fall broadly in the purpose of the role.

  • Identify problems and find solutions accordingly

About you

Technical:

  • Understanding of OTC process,

  • At least 5 years in Order Management or related areas,

  • Effective time management and meets the deadline on time

  • Customer and performance oriented,

  • Very good use of MS Office programmes,

  • Excellent knowledge of SAP
