About the Role

             

The Sales Support Coordinator will be required to manage the timely and accurate processing of retailer sales orders, invoicing, deliveries and retailer returns.  Identifying efficiencies and improvements to improve the service levels and effectiveness of the sales support function and maintaining a high level of customer service in relation to retailer inquiries and orders is paramount.

Main responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Processing of retailer sales orders, including EDI, bulk orders, store staff sales and internal customers (e.g. Marketing).  Assist with training new staff

  • Processing of retailer inquiries relating to placement of orders, confirmation of orders, delivery, promotions, product and other related matters

  • Supporting Dyson sales staff – with retailer orders of machines and accessories

  • Managing the process of Promotions for Retailer Redemptions – enter orders, contact customers, manage stock

  • Liaising with and processing stock returns from retailers

  • Always act in the best interests of Dyson and ensure that issues are dealt with and resolved quickly, escalating where they see fit

  • Balance the staff work load through the week to ensure all team members have equal quantities and variety

  • Up selling of products to retailers when required

  • Calling Retailers for Customer Survey reviews

  • Liaise with Accounts and manage retailers when orders exceed the credit limit

  • Investigate and process claims for late delivery, damage and losses by couriers

  • Maintain accurate and tidy printed file records

  • Support the Manager with reporting on Sales, Returns and other activities

  • Assist with stock take

  • Adhere to Dyson Appliances policies and procedures

About You

You are a  self motivated individual who is hands-on and 100% customer focused. You have great attention to detail, are team orientated and have the ability to prioritise and work under pressure along with the willingness to make decisions in the best interests of Dyson and the customer. You bring a positive, proactive/can do attitude and possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

Previous skills & experience:

  • Strong analytical and numerical skills

  • Intermediate – Microsoft Office skills including Excel

  • Exceptional customer service skills

  • Typing speed of 40 words per minute

  • Minimum 12 months data entry experience

  • Demonstrated previous experience working as part of a team

  • Ability to multitask

  • Must be adaptable to change and be flexible
