Order-To-Cash (OTC) Deduction Snr Analyst

Dyson Business Services (DBS) organisation provides process and service excellence to support Dyson’s growth ambitions with a goal of innovating and enhancing services over time to meet the changing needs of the business.

This role reports to the OTC Operations Supervisor– DBS and is responsible for working in OTC functions with the focus in deduction area for DBS. In this role, you will be part of a team who continue to build the new capability of deduction process, accrual and contract review, with processes transitioned to the Centre and realized the DBS vision including defined new ways of working, supporting the OTC operations team.

About the Role

Deduction Snr Analyst will be responsible for:

Relationships and Strategy

  • Forge strong relationships with markets stakeholders and work in partnership with them to ensure the achievement of ambitious business objectives.
  • Establish and communicate a clear vision for the deduction, accrual process, AR accounting and work with the OTC Operations Supervisor/Manager & Senior stake holders.
  • Ensure collaboration with other stockholders across markets
  • Driving deduction initiatives and deduction agenda with local market/ Finance Team

Process Design, Delivery, Governance and Continuous Improvement

  • Accountable for the smooth delivery of high-quality deduction process to all business stakeholders in OTC scope
  • Drive realization of global process standardization in area of deductions in co-operation with the OTC SME for Deductions.
  • Realization of KPIs to drive process excellence year-on-year and focus on the delivery of value-added activities to the Markets.
  • Establish strong governance for deduction activities to ensure company assets are secured
  • Collaborate in designing and execution of deduction strategy for the OTC process, including associated policies and technologies.
  • Participate in regular DBS performance reviews and promptly address issues/risks in the OTC deduction area.
  • Maintain a strong focus on execution and deliver short term results and successes while moving towards the long-term vision for deduction
  • Regular report on deduction service delivery and key initiative.
  • Ad/hoc reports
  • Relentless drive for continuous improvements.
  • First point of contact for customer and LM escalations

Experience

  • Bcom or master’s in accounting required
  • A proven experience in similar role in other organization.
  • Communicate in a concise and clear manner (verbally and written) comfortable working with senior leadership and other stockholders
  • Comfortable in a multi-cultural work environment
  • Good knowledge of accounting, reporting and analysis, acquired through related work experience
  • Ability to analyse financial and operating statistics and provide meaningful feedback.
  • Have a ‘Can-do’ attitude, highly self-motivated and deadline driven.
  • Hands-on experience in finance process improvements.
  • Have the ability to motivate and encourage a productive working environment
  • Working in a fast-paced team environment with high volume activities and changing priorities.
  • Experience in accounting and financial systems such as SAP S4 and Blackline, a plus.
  • Lean or Six Sigma Certification, a plus.
