Senior brand Manger

Dyson has made a major strategic expansion into Asia.

At the heart of the Asia expansion is the decision to create a strong Dyson team on the ground in Shanghai, where this role will be based.


Dyson is looking for a candidate who will be a long term asset to the China organization, and to grow alongside with the business in China. This candidate will be a senior brand manager to deliver an integrated program that builds the category and reputation of dyson in market and assigned to lead a sub-category’s business.

The role will report into the head of floor care.

Build and lead to execute the core range marketing strategy

•Understand the business from in depth consumer and retail    understanding. Independently conduct category market analysis such as macro, product, competition, retail, and consumers;•Assist line manager to develop the core range strategy and range/pricing plan based on in depth understanding of his/her category;•Develop and execute the tactics in-line with marketing strategy to hit share growth and sales target;•Assist line manager to manage the budget and annual planning process


Develop communication strategy and lead to a holistic plan with cross-functional integration

Liaison with global / HQ to develop local communication strategy, brief to creative/messaging, brief/ buy media, and support creative production;

•Able to covert category and communication strategy to each function and work closely and productively with outside party like media partner, internal PR, digital and sales team to deliver;•Review effectiveness and efficiency of media spending and propose improvement continuously;


Lead and deliver the product initiative(IMC launches, promotions, other)

•Develop project calendar and manage resource; •Engage everyone on aboard, both internal and external;•Keep tracking the project progress. When any contingency is spotted, take all necessary actions to bring things back on track.


Manage marketing data/vendor

•Data source management (of market, product, competition, adverts, sales etc.)•Regular contacts to outside suppliers (of creative, media, legal, product, research etc.)•Spending budget tracking/management through SAP operation
