About us
Dyson’s multidisciplinary Energy Storage development team is responsible for delivering cells from early prototypes through to manufacturing. The cells that the team delivers will push the boundaries of performance, power density, and efficiency.
Dyson Energy Storage is seeking a highly motivated Senior Business Operations Manager to work closely with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and all other business functional teams to ensure program is delivered on scope, on budget and on time. As a senior business operations manager, you will have a significant contribution and impact on our ability to scale prototype concepts and builds while continuing to innovate our products and processes.
About the role
Work closely with various teams to support new operation needs, workflow changes and process improvements
Enhance the operational procedure and principles in the areas of information flow and management, business processes and enhanced management reporting
Organize and intensify efficiency support by aligning all functions and coordinating communication between businesses and support functions
Perform a meaningful role in long-term planning and establishment initiatives aimed at operational distinction
Organizing the budget of the program in collaboration with finance team and functional teams
Supervise project governance and ensure one time submission of all reports in support of key stakeholder reviews
Extract business intelligence and sense check project viability throughout project lifecycle
To work with program director on planning for future program objectives and establish clear success gating criteria
Participate in projects and system implementation in term of controls and risks assessment
Summarise and communicate to management team on key issues, risks and business impact of such risks
About you
Possess a Degree in Accountancy/ Finance/ Business or the equivalent with at least 10 years’ experience in operations, business operations or equivalent.
Project management (Agile / Scrum Methodology), change management and facilitation experience in matrixed environment.
Familiar with manufacturing and end to end product development process
Strong analytical, problem solving skills, good verbal communication and presentation skills
Pro-active, resourceful, able to take challenges, work independently or as a team.
Able to work in a dynamic fast paced environment
