About the role
We are currently seeking Data Analysts to join the B.I. Team embedded within the ‘Quality Function’.
This role is essential to protect Dyson and its customers from any changes that could impact product reliability or user satisfaction.
The role will put your detective skills to the test, identifying discrepancies, following leads and finding the perpetrator.
You will need to be confident using reports and dashboards to find and assess trends and comfortable using SQL to analyse data.
You must also have experience of Tableau/Looker/Power BI or a similar visualisation tool and have a passion for creating creative visualisations that can bring the data to life and ‘tell the story’ to non-technical colleagues of any level.
Creative thinking & persistence is a prerequisite of this role and necessary attributes for explaining the key drivers of any trends and features identified.
As well as BI colleagues you will collaborate closely with the market and category engineers explaining how the data features will be represented in their domains.
About you
We are interested in speaking to people at all Levels (Analyst, Senior and Lead) who have relevant industry experience.
Confident and competent with SQL.
Relevant experience in Cloud Data Analysis eg Bigquery (or Redshift or Snowflake).
Proficiency in Tableau, Looker, Qlik or Power BI for data visualization.
Relevant experience in project and stakeholder management.
Forward thinking and thrives on change.
Interested in how business works and desire to improve our performance.
Self-motivated, dynamic and results-driven.
Team player, comfortable dealing with all business levels.
Willing to be flexible in tasks and activities taken on.
Attention to detail without losing bigger picture.
Ability to deliver under pressure.
