About the role
The Senior E-Commerce manager will be at the helm of driving continuous digital customer journey improvements, critical in delivering our stretching revenue and profit targets over the coming years. S/he will be responsible for the strategic direction & new business initiatives for Dyson.fr
Trading and financial responsibility
Responsible for Channel P&L & CpA
Responsible for GM and trading profit delivery of Dyson.fr
Deliver and exceed the growth objectives for Dyson.fr
Work closely with digital analyst to report on performance, insights and optimizations
Supports development of KPIs, owns driving and reporting against them
Own eCom equation & forecasting for the channel
Drive trading plan execution across the teams and on the platform, ensure smooth execution, monitor and report results
Ask and answer business questions based on data
Ensure close collaboration on campaigns, paid, earned and social media strategies to deliver seamless experience across all product categories
Allocation of team resources
Owns daily trading of channel
Responsible for the strategic channel direction, new business initiatives & full year plan
Own delivery of the current strategy
Plan and drive business results, while reflecting the broader business targets and longer-term Dyson strategy
Strengthen “why Dyson.fr” value proposition through differentiated e-commerce strategies
Ensure that Dyson.fr delivers a premium experience that strengthens the brand and delivers against transformation goals
Use advanced content strategies, targeting technologies and analytics to deliver personalised experiences across target audiences
Identify problems, challenge status quo, find solutions & make decisions for happy owners
Execution of larger projects
Plan and develop for the future
Key stakeholder to deliver integrated sales and marketing plans for Dyson.fr as part of weekly, monthly and annual planning processes
Develop profitable online programs including eCommerce range planning, promotions, and merchandising solutions to elevate the Dyson brand.
Represent Dyson.fr in integrated business planning process on a weekly basis
Owning web shop related trading meetings.
Ensure that Dyson.fr best practices and insights are shared with other retailers where appropriate
Onsite & Experience
Responsible for building a culture of continuous learning through on-going testing, measurement and optimisation on Dyson.fr
Build processes, calendars to communicate Dyson.fr merchandising plans to various teams across the organisation
Partner with category teams to ensure integrated plan across paid, owned and earned media
Personal lead of other team members and line manager
Be an active subject matter expert on all things digital
Support and mentor team members
Develop talents of the future
5/7 years of online marketing and/or sales experience with a major, transactional E-Commerce Web site.
At least 3 years of experience working in digital management role with responsibilities including leading teams, managing large scale projects, and launching new products
Online customer experience
Bachelor’s Degree required
Experience working with a major Web analytics and reporting tool such as Adobe Analytics is desired
Experience managing P&L for an e-commerce site
Ability to understand the Dyson brand and uphold its integrity
Strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills
Must have excellent project management skills with the ability to coordinate both internal and external resource in a cross-functional and international organisation.
