About The Role

The global channel and commercial finance team is responsible for providing governance, business partnering, and subject matter expertise for all Dyson sales channels and commercial investments.

In this role, the Senior Finance Analyst will be responsible for Brand Building Investments. This includes leading preparation for global leadership reviews, developing analyses & insights to enable informed brand building & cost of acquisition investments across the company, tracking and measuring the return on investment of key campaign investments, providing recommendations to shape investment decision, as well as be the finance subject matter expert for brand building and cost of acquisition.

This is role will have direct exposure to the Dyson global commercial and category teams and reports into the Global Finance Manager – Commercial Investments.


Key Responsibilities

  • Own and lead preparation for all global BBI council reviews

  • Partner with the global commercial and category teams to rationalise and connect the dots between brand and financial metrics

  • Partner with category finance to develop and implement a process to track and measure the return on investment of key global campaigns

  • Be the FP&A and accounting subject matter expert to all regions and markets for brand building investments and cost of acquisition.

  • Partner with regions and markets to ensure application of globally consistent accounting principles

  • Partner with the group finance team to refine and maintain financial analytics tools on Tableau

  • Lead and support on ad-hoc projects and initiatives where required

About You

  • Strong communication skills, with ability to influence and interpret financial information to provide insight to senior management

  • Energetic and engaging with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude; a problem solver

  • Flexible and willing to adapt priorities based on changing stakeholder needs, proactively manages expectations around the quality and timing of delivery across multiple stakeholders

  • Ability to understand and apply key accounting principles

  • A successful self-starter, comfortable working with ambiguity, with a relentless drive for continuous improvement

Experience

  • Experience collaborating with multi-functional and diverse stakeholders, with a willingness to work across global time-zones if required

  • Experience in developing new ways of working and driving global alignment to them

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
