The Commercial Senior Finance Analyst will work closely with the SEU Finance Manager, Finance peers in Europe and local Leadership Teams to provide dedicated best in class finance services, drive in-depth analysis and contribute to shape Dyson’s Future.
About the Role
This role reports to the Southern Europe Commercial Finance Manager.
- Finance Efficiency. Deliver and implement reporting solutions for the senior leadership of the Cluster organization, with a high focus on the Digital performance and Media Return On Investment. Streamline and enrich existing reporting through automation/visualisation according to the proactive feedback you will gather from your business partners.
- Business Partnering. Engage and partner with Marketing Directors, Heads of Media and the different Category Leaders, in order to identify opportunities and implement these according to Dyson long-term strategy.
Drive Finance community engagement around initiatives you will lead across regions and globally. - Financial Controllership & Analysis. Drive complex and time-sensitive analysis/project to provide insightful information to the Leadership for the SEU Cluster markets (Italy, France, Iberia). Track and identify risks & opportunities on cross-functional KPIs across the regions by partnering with central and local teams.
- Financial Planning. Drive and contribute to the forecasting activities for the Commercial and Marketing costs for the Cluster. Coordinate with markets leadership team to prepare financial planning reviews and ensure on-time delivery of accurate forecasts. Drive the alignment with long-term goals and local initiatives.
About You
You are a seasoned finance professional, with a master’s degree level education or equivalent.
We are looking for you to have a Commercial Finance background, within a fast moving digital or/and ecommerce environment, strong analytical and financial projection skills along with technical ability in reporting systems.
You are comfortable in running multi-layers analysis and parallel scenarios within an ambiguous environment and will be encourage in thinking “outside-the-box”.
Confidence in building strong partnership and engaging with non-financial teams are vital characteristics in order to succeed in this role. You will be an organised self-starter with strong ability to work independently in order to deliver solutions meeting Dyson’s standards.
