About the Role
To provide the day to day operational guidance and direction to key departments to enable effective people management across all levels. To give strategic insight to the people planning process that support longer term plans to recruit, retain and develop great people passionate about Dyson. To coordinate relationship and escalate issue with Dyson Business Services team located in Krakow.
Be an effective communicator and build relationships at all levels to enable the support, advice and challenge of people practices within the business.
Provide proactive operational support to the managers community
Be the first point of contact for all Managers to provide expert advice in all areas of Employee Relations, HR policy and practice, keeping employment local law knowledge current and relevant.
Work with Dyson Business Service team to make sure key people processes are delivered accurately and in time (e.g. Payroll, Time and Attendance, onboarding, offboarding, benefit, HR policy review...).
Work with the Talent & Acquisition team and Managers to critically assess levels of resource.
Work to up-skill the Managers’ capability on all management issues including performance management, absence management, and employee relations issues.
Effectively manage the employee relations workload, ensuring that issues are dealt with in a timely manner and with a pragmatic approach.
Review data and produce reports for key employee metrics, identifying, investigating and flagging possible implications of issues/trends that show up.
Drive delivery of HR strategic initiatives
To maintain and further develop commercial knowledge of the rapidly changing business environment. Work closely with and provide appropriate challenge to Managers to be a key contributor of the business’s decision-making process.
Project manage organisation changes resulting from strategic initiatives.
With Managers, develop departmental people plans and drive/support delivery of core business objectives.
Support Talent Management working closely with HR Business Partner/Head of HR
Support identification of current and future critical roles and deliver succession planning for client groups.
Critically assess the level of capability and work with Managers to proactively support performance management and career discussions across the teams.
Support Managers to develop their teams, raising the bar of capability across all areas.
Assess the training needs to maximize the potential of people and where appropriate design and deliver training programs to meet that need.
Fulfil other duties as required:
Proactively spot/implement opportunities to improve team ways of working and supporting Engagement plans; identify problems and find solutions.
Relish the opportunity to pick up new activities that fall broadly in the purpose of the role.
About You
Excellent generalist HR experience
A strong understanding of employment law in The Netherlands
Change management experience
Proven ability in coaching
Previous experience in a FMCG or highly commercial environment
