Senior Logistics Manager

Main Duties/Responsibilities:

The role will manage the import & export, domestics logistics operation, order fulfilment, reverse logistics, with below main areas of responsibility,

  • Managing the end to end logistics service to fulfil the demand from both our B2B and B2C customers
    • Lead the team to manage daily logistics operation including warehousing and transportation with 3PL to fulfil customer order in China mainland
    • Own the resolution to manage the daily operation exceptions
    • Manage sales order processing team to secure precise and in-time order entry.
    • Manage the logistics resource and capacity planning with 3PL to fulfil the demand fluctuation during peak season like 6.18, 11.11 event
    • Manage the logistics SOP to drive the operation compliance with 3PL
    • Manage the reverse logistics, regular revisit the return policy and assess the risk and opportunity to drive operation efficiency, compliance and brand protection
    • Initiate projects to enhance the operation reliability and stability
  • Establishing and managing the supplier performance and efficiency
    • Develop the supplier performance mechanism, score card, Service Level Agreement, etc.
    • Lead the annual supplier RFQ process and relevant contract management
  • Managing logistics operation optimization
    • Logistics network assessment and optimization
    • Warehousing and Transportation flow simplification, Lean program
    • Own the logistics spending, drive the cost saving project to achieve the annual saving target
    • Own the logistics systems, actively adapt new techniques to achieve higher logistics efficiency and visibility.
  • Engaging with internal/external parties including,
    • Customs engagement to understand the regulation and industry knowledge
    • Customer broker compliance
    • Commercial team, including internal sales team, and also external key customer/retailer supply chain engagement

Skills / Experience Required:

  • 10+ years’ experience in supply chain or logistics management, logistics experience in e-commerce field or 3C product industry is a plus
  • 5+ years’ people management
  • Experience of LEAN logistics management, project management, 3PL management
  • Good knowledge of logistics systems, e.g. TMS, WMS, SAP is a plus.
  • Result-oriented and good problem-solving skill
  • Good communication skills and capacity for teamwork
  • Positive, can-do attitude to business
