Senior Manager Digital Learning

About us

The Senior Digital Learning Manager is responsible for developing and leading training and capability building for Dyson’s global workforce leveraging digital training tools and techniques. 
This role will assess and map out Dyson’s digital learning roadmap for the next 3-5 years and drive initiatives and programs to go on that journey. This will include governance and standards for Digital Learning, designing digital learning programs to address Dyson’s global capability needs, manage the global learning management system and providing data and analytics to enable decision making around capability development at Dyson. 

About the role

Learning Design to address Dyson’s capability needs:
  • Set in place a technology enabled process to assess learning needs for Dyson globally
  • Create an organization wide digital learning agenda to address our large and diverse global workforce 
  • Design digital learning pathways, content and assets to address specific capability areas for our global workforce via Dyson Learning and content partners
  • Design Digital parts of flagship development journeys at Dyson – individual development, manager development, leader development
  • Own learning and development for Dyson’s Leading Self (individual contributors) audience and population. Design and publish an annual digital learning calendar accessible to all employees at Dyson
  • Set up governance for Digital Learning standards across all functions at Dyson. Be the central liaison point to bring together efforts and quality in Digital Learning across the business 

Learning Management System:
  • Work closely with the HRIS team, L&D team, People function and broader business to understand key needs and translate the same into the right functionality in our LMS
  • Build engagement plans and dashboards to increase uptake on the LMS towards creating a learning culture
  • Engage with HR and business stakeholders to have conversations around driving up learning engagement 

Digital Content:
  • Define third party digital content needs for Dyson over the next 3-5 years 
  • Assess current and potential future content providers to meet these needs
  • Finalize competitive contracts and terms with third party content providers to best suit Dyson’s needs
  • Lead integration of third party content with Dyson’s LMS
  • Lead curation and use of content at Dyson to ensure strong engagement with and ROI for digital content

Engagement and Communication:
  • Own and lead on leveraging technology to communicate L&D offerings to business
  • Design and manage ongoing communication platforms for development at Dyson – newsletters, Motor updates, Manager Hub, Leadership Hub, Career Hub and others
  • Drive engaging and attractive communication to increase engagement of Dyson users with digital content, drive consumptions, reviews and feedback
  • Leverage digital marketing strategies to scale up digital learning at Dyson
  • Determine and develop evaluation and measurement criteria for programmes and create the right dashboards and data for conversations order to bring the learning agenda to the forefront with senior leaders

Global CoE Projects:
  • Act as an SME on Digital Learning for critical global projects
  • Be flexible to adapt to changing needs of the role and lead / participate in key projects critical to Dyson
