About The Role 

We are seeking an experienced Risk Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing, analysing, and mitigating potential risks within Dyson’s Revenue functions. Your expertise will play a critical role in ensuring the success of the company.  

If you have a strong background in risk assessment, business continuity planning and strategic thinking, along with excellent problem-solving skills, this position offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity to make a significant impact at an exciting time for our organisation. You will:

  • Support Dyson Revenue teams to implement processes that enable timely risk identification and consistent assessment across the function, including the subsequent development of risk responses and mitigations.  

  • Develop functional risk profiles and risk prioritisation activities, monitoring the adequacy and progress of risk mitigations. 

  • Develop and implement strategies to mitigate identified risks, ensuring effective risk management. 

  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments across Regions Revenue functions, identifying potential risks and vulnerabilities. 

  • Provide expertise to support risk evaluation as part of business cases for potential investments, initiatives, and strategic direction. 

  • Build a risk-aware culture within Dyson Revenue functions and contribute to risk culture development programmes across Dyson including the delivery of training / communications.

  • Act as the primary point of contact on risk management matters. 

  • Work with Group Risk to ensure alignment on the overall risk management framework. 

About you 

  • Prior risk management experience within a global company, either within a risk team or a legal/compliance based function. 

  • Prior experience implementing/aligning with an Enterprise Risk Framework and risk-related policies. 

  • Ideally you will have a level of knowledge of laws and regulations affecting a global company such as Dyson, including emerging technologies.  

  • Possess a relevant degree qualification or equivalent.

  • Experience in working with multiple stakeholders regionally or globally. 

  • Strong ability in advising on risk management requirements and working with risk and governance frameworks, policies or procedures. 

  • Strong attention to detail. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
