About the role

Talent Acquisition is the face of Dyson and often the first interaction our employees have with the business. In this role you will lead the TA function for the Americas (US, Canada and Mexico).

Reporting to the Global Head of Talent Acquisition, you will consult closely with the business leaders and managers, advising on the full spectrum of talent issues from talent identification, assessment through to workforce planning. You will own and drive the full recruitment life cycle including go to market strategies and will be a change agent in the highly dynamic, fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will possess creative and innovative thinking while maintaining a strong focus on execution. Ideally, you will have excellent, consultative influence management skills to lead and partner on talent needs. An affinity with data and analytics is a must as is a passion for making data driven decisions and growing data driven strategies.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Lead and develop a high performing team to deliver Dyson’s technical and functional resourcing needs across the region through close partnership with HR, Legal and business stakeholders

  • Maintain sound knowledge of regional employment law as it relates to the end-to-end hiring lifecycle

  • Create and execute regional employment branding and community engagement strategies

  • Continue to embed an evolving recruitment model and constantly seek chances to create process efficiencies and automation

  • Engage and liaise with senior stakeholders, and HR Leaders to establish volume and non-volume hiring plans and forecasts to craft appropriate recruiting strategies regionally to ensure we deliver against targets

  • Work closely with the Finance and HR leadership team on monitoring recruiting activity (speed, quality and diversity) as well as spend vs targets / budgets

  • Design and inform attraction strategies across recruitment campaigns, ads & media, direct sourcing and pipelining to ensure we can hire highly sought-after skillsets and capabilities (AI, Software, Robotics to name but a few!)

  • Delivering an elite candidate experience through candidate communications and well led interview process

  • Support other key TA and HR projects and/or initiatives as needed

About you

  • Extensive experience in recruiting at all levels, but still prepared to undertake hands on recruitment – ideally with experience across some of our most competitive talent verticals such Digital, Ecommerce and Retail.

  • Third party vendor management experience is desired.

  • Validated ability to source and design innovative direct recruitment strategies.

  • Experience of working in an agile and evolving environment; where the ability to create cost-effective recruitment, solutions has been essential.

  • Capability to influence a senior client population and an ability to handle complex client relationships.

  • Sound project management capability with ability to set and perform against a set recruitment plan.

  • Self-starter with a good track record of working in a dynamic and self-sufficient environment

  • Results focused with a passion for data and insights.

  • Can do attitude with energy; proactive with a bias towards action and performance as both a leader and individual contributor.

  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills; strong communication skills and ability to write

  • Role model of integrity and possess the ability to bring together a hardworking team of recruiters
