About the role

As a Senior Marketing Manager in our Go To Markets team within the Floorcare Category, you will drive and support the overall company goals of accelerating our ‘Direct’ (direct to consumer) performance, reinforcing Dyson as a retailer as well as manufacturer and ensuring Owner Experience is optimised.

The role requires a collaborative approach, as you will partner closely with teams across the business, including global Markets, Owner Experience, Legal, Claims, Centre of Excellence (Creative Hubs) and Engineering teams, to translate projects into high impact, differentiated campaigns, providing globally aligned brand and need-state focused initiatives. You will also work closely with the Programme Management function to ensure projects are delivered in a timely and process compliant manner, ensuring that their work aligns with the initial project strategy.

You will have regular engagement with our Markets and Ecommerce teams, ensuring accelerated adoption of driving Direct, whilst covering local and specific requirements and aligning with the Dyson global brand and direction, steering, and influencing market teams where necessary. You will work with various stakeholder groups to create a clear roadmap of activity that will operationally deliver the Direct strategy and commercial targets for Floorcare.

You will look at elements of owner experience, owner retention and acquisition campaigns, and act as the go to contact for all Direct initiatives affecting our Floorcare category (e.g., Direct campaigns, Virtual Store, Help Me Choose, merchandising, accessories, and attachment rates). You’ll look at data dashboard reporting and web analytics tools to gain actionable insight and influence merchandising decisions to improve our Floorcare Direct metrics.

We want you to be a champion of Direct internally, creating a collaborative and effective relationship where market insight is actively sought and acted upon, and Group actions are well communicated and understood. You will work with key stakeholders on campaign requirements that drive business performance for Direct, building asset list requirements that ensure we are optimising creative resource against the most valuable deliverables.

You’ll be able to confidently articulate what’s working, what’s not and how this is impacting the business, with a fluent understanding of market competitor offerings and competitor go to market and direct strategies and use this insight to drive Group action to pre-empt any negative impact to Dyson.

                                                                                                                                          

About you

  • Demonstrable experience in an online marketing role, for a business that sells direct to consumers
  • Highly commercial, with experience building business cases to show value of new project initiatives
  • A strong understanding of digital media, passionate about online, and up to date with latest developments
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, both written and verbal, comfortable working with all seniorities of stakeholder
  • Highly organised, able to prioritise, able to learn quickly, adaptable, a self-starter
