About the role
Procurement Excellence provides leadership, insight, and support to the global procurement function to drive the implementation of next-generation procurement and deliver the company and procurement vision. Our ambition is to build best-in-class, harmonized and flawless practices, tools, and processes to support the Procurement Transformation program and contribute to the top line and bottom line of Dyson.
Working in collaboration with Procurement teams and other Supply Chain functions, you will support Global Procurement to enable the data driven decision making culture.
Ensure the availability of up-to-date, integrated and consistent procurement data and develop a data-driven culture.
Lead Procurement analytics & automation solutions implementation.
Collaborate with Procurement teams to design, test, and implement analytics products and interactive visuals that facilitate data discovery and drive actionable insights from end to end.
Deliver best-in-class systems capabilities with the objective of optimising the end-to-end procurement process.
Key Accountabilities
Lead cross functional systems & data initiatives and drive continuous improvement and innovations in this area.
Develop analytics tools and reports to meet Procurement & business objectives and needs.
Contribute to the Master Data Management initiative from data analytic perspective
Troubleshoot and identify root cause of data issue and get it resolved with relevant teams
Drive projects aimed at delivering automated reporting solutions to improve data-driven decision-making processes.
Create data intelligence that can be used by Procurement leadership team to add real value to the top and bottom line.
Displays strong analytical skills and strategic thinking to translate insights into impactful initiatives within Procurement Operations Excellence.
Support the optimization of procurement KPI’s and develop a data-driven culture in procurement by educating procurement colleagues
Constantly identify and implement, opportunities to upgrade data quality in the spend cube
About you
University degree; Master's degree preferred in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Procurement or other related field.
Previous Experience/exposure to Procurement activities
High level of business and financial acumen
Willingness to transform, challenge the status quo and resilience in execution
Excellent project management from strategic thinking to operational execution
Comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced, challenging environment
3 - 5 years in an analytics capacity with experience with BI
Strong Communication and Influence skills.
Strong financial & analytical skills
Fluent oral and written English
