About the role
We are looking for someone who will be responsible for providing expert technical assurance and advice to ensure efficient functioning of a specified function or small region of Dyson.
About You
Demonstrate several years successful experience in sourcing equipment for high volume production of energy storage/battery assembly lines, or similar, with experience in new product introduction.
Understanding of equipment specifications, part drawings etc. and be able to challenge the manufacturing/engineering team – look for effective solutions, make suggestions for alternatives (through knowledge gained or use of VA/VE analysis etc.)
Degree in Engineering AND/OR Supply Chain Management or Relevant Career experience in a related function.
A self-starter who can stay focused whilst managing several different projects at a time, work collaboratively with internal Manufacturing and Engineering teams as well as Suppliers and see the job through to completion.
Knowledge of SEA based vendors is essential.

Accountability for managing suppliers and projects end to end, ensuring business needs are met and projects are completed on time and on budget
Supplier management - from identifying potential suppliers through to managing the RFQ process, contract negotiation and supplier onboarding; conducting risk analysis and leading supplier business reviews with a cross functional team to effectively manage contract adherence & performance.
Support a continuous improvement program to advance procurement processes, governance and capabilities across the group.
An element of overseas travel is anticipated with this role
