About the role

Our ‘Future of Direct & Experience – Data & Content’ programme deliver new Marketing Technology systems and transform our Commercial Operations by: consolidating our global content into a new state of the art digital asset management platform (DAM); delivering a marketing resource management (MRM) solution that will support optimised content production and delivery processes; integrating this content hub with the various content delivery systems; and integrating our owner data into one location to enable efficient personalized content and journeys.

As our Senior Product Owner, you will manage all data activities falling under the responsibility of the business as part of the programme, ultimately being responsible for the delivery of a Marketing Content Hub comprising of a global DAM, MRM and Digital Rights Management (DRM) capability. 

You will create and manage a backlog of requirements for the delivery of the Hub, working with our business analysts to ensure that all business requirements are met within the user stories and epics. Working closely with our market, IT and business delivery teams, you will define a roadmap for tackling the backlog, delivering based on business priority. We want you to provide in depth reporting to key team members and senior stakeholders on project deliverables, whilst ensuring that sprint is protected (once defined) and knowledge gaps are identified. You will work with a variety of insight teams to help drive change based on the evidence of your reports. 

To succeed in the role, you will constantly be asking whether we are: meeting business capability requirements; meeting owner requirements; adequately resourced against our project roadmap; reporting to the business in the best way; following correct Agile methodologies; following processes and making informed decisions based on clear data. We need to ensure that the backlog accurately covers all requirements that we have raised and validated, and that we have the correct acceptance criteria on all User Stories.

About you

•    At least five years’ experience in product ownership, including the delivery of IT system capabilities (e.g. Digital Marketing Technologies, CRM)
•    At least three years’ experience in the design and implementation of DAM systems
•    Exceptional understanding of Agile methodologies
•    Data and content savvy, with a good understanding of the processes to produce and distribute marketing assets
•    Strong project team leadership qualities, across multiple locations and organisations, with a focus on quality
