About the role

As the Senior Product Verification Engineer, you will be responsible for administering the architecture, process & tools to deliver product verification & validation across all the Dyson categories. You will lead the test function in your site ensuring that the test process delivers the business requirements of product development. 

As part of the Dyson Test Team, you will play an integral part in communication, standardization, and integrating the various functions within the Global Product Verification & Test Team.


  • Responsible for GPVT-wide process, systems, and tools that realize productivity and governance targets (Quality, Time, Efficiency & Safety)
  • Support development of the verification & validation process & system architecture
  • Improve test data systems and work with IT teams to identify and implement tools and systems relevant for GPVT
  • Capable for implementation of new process
  • Provide appropriate updates to key stakeholders and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
  • Coordinate training plans across the team and hubbing new talent development
  • Champion the Dyson culture and cross-team communication throughout the Test organization
  • Collaborate effectively across Global Engineering to ensure GPVT is integrated effectively

About you

  • You should have a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical or related field or equivalent experience.
  • You have 3 or more years of experience in the development and implementation of processes in a research and development environment
  • You worked in verification and testing. Experience conducting testing and test method development and exposure to test rigs/automation. Preferably in medical devices, household appliances, or cosmetic devices
  • In-depth experience of Quality Management Systems and ISO standards such as 13485
  • Your communication and presentation skills are excellent.
  • You also should be comfortable with a high degree of ambiguity and enjoy greatly the idea of solving problems.
  • Strong commercial awareness with an interest in the wider Dyson business and industry.
