About The Department

Estates Operations is under the umbrella of Group Estates that supports various functions ensuring Manufacturing, laboratories and offices operate smoothly and play an active role in space extensions and renovations, as well as strategic functions like to achieve operational excellence, sustainability, new workplaces setup and people development.

About The Role

  • Manage new workplaces fit-out and A&A works in APGC.

  • Responsible for projects management and close partnership with other supporting functions on security & IT setup, safety, environment, and health compliances.

  • Qualify suitable consultants and contractors in APGC.

  • Support workplace planning process.

  • Responsible for people training and development.

  • Support other site work requests when called upon.

  • Manage the Operations & Core Projects Expenditure for APGC.

  • Analyzes expenses and cost transactions; ensures transactions are recorded accurately and assigned to the appropriate projects and work codes.

  • Provides detailed financial analysis and reports of expenses, includes breakdowns of project costs and forecasts of remaining expenses.

  • Conducts market research as needed to recommend changes to pricing or business models.

  • Collaborate with site Facilities Managers on taskings and initiatives to meet cost targets.

  • Responsible for the training and development of sites in APGC to achieve their cost targets.

About You

  • Master / Bachelor Degree in Engineering from a reputable University.

  • At least 20 years of working experiences in facilities management and project management job responsibilities, and minimum 10 years of working experience in the capacity of senior management job role.

  • Good working experiences in managing Operations & Project Cost.

  • Good analytical skills and attention to details.

  • Familiar with construction rates of materials, skilled labor and installation methods.

  • Familiar with Local Code of Practices, especially on Safety, Health and Environment.

  • SCEM (Singapore Certified Energy Manager) or equivalent certified.

  • Other Professional Certification(s) in Engineering or Facilities Management is preferred.


  • Strong planning and organizing capability.

  • Good knowledge in Facilities equipment and installation methods.

  • Highly proficient in strategic thinking and analytical skills.

  • Excellent in engaging stakeholders.

  • Good in management and communication skills.

  • Strong team player and able to work independently.

  • Diligent, committed and open to new ideas.
