About the role
Responsible for developing the Quality strategy, policies, processes, standards, and systems for the Company.
Lead the Quality Management function within the business to achieve and maintain compliance to applicable QMS requirements.
Act as Management Representative to ensure that processes needed for the quality management system are documented including, change control, internal audit.
Effective implementation and management of Nonconformance and Corrective and Preventive Action.
Chair Management Review meetings, reporting on the effectiveness of the QMS and delivering a strategy for new processes and products (extension to scope).
Ensures QMS requirements are integrated into the organisation's business processes.
Drive a quality culture throughout the organization, through the promotion of awareness of applicable regulatory and quality management system requirements.
Plan and ensuring relevant training is conducted, working closely with key and supporting functions of the QMS.
Support the product approvals process, working closely with the Regulatory Affairs function for technical file compilation and submissions.
Plan and oversee Quality management system audits, consulting with regulatory bodies.
About you
At minimum degree in Engineering or Quality.
At least 10 years working experience in quality role(s); out of which, at least 6 years in highly regulated sectors like Pharma/medical industry as a QMS Lead or Qualified auditor.
Extensive knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001 / ISO 13485) within regulated industries essential.
Exposure to working in Matrix organization and/or able to mobilize indirect resources in a matrix organization, facilitating collaboration.
Ability to independently drive continuous improvement.
Excellent communication and presentation skills (written & verbal). Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
Willingness to own issues and propose solutions.
Leadership skills to maintain a diverse team engaged and focused on the objectives.
Excellent time management skills.
Experience conducting site regulatory compliance audits.
