About the role 

As Senior Research Scientist, you will enable the delivery of novel fluid treatment technologies from concept to an integrated solution. Working within a multidisciplinary team of scientists and engineers, you will apply your broad expertise to deliver research that impacts new Dyson products.


Responsibilities

  • Propose, research and develop new technology solutions in gas and water purification to drive New Products

  • Deliver specialist knowledge to the senior management team in research and project reviews

  • Problem solving at technology and product levels

  • Develop test and analysis capability to the highest standard to enhance Dyson’s ability to evaluate gas and water treatment technologies

About you 

  • Qualified in a physical science to at least masters level or equivalent experience

  • Industrial or academic experience leading research projects strongly desirable

  • Experience working in filtration, purification or catalysis desirable

  • The ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and concepts

  • Have prior experience of cross-discipline research projects involving multiple collaborators, desirably in the chemical industry
