Senior Security Officer

Job Title:              Senior Security Officer  

Department:         Legal, Group Security

Reports To:           Security Operations Manager UK

The Senior Security Officer will play an essential role in supporting the UK Security Operations Team. The role delivers routine administrative activities and acts as a key interface with the Security Operations Team to ensure the effective delivery and implementation of the Global Security Policy.

The role offers the appropriate candidate an opportunity to work within a corporate setting and gain insight to security risk management activities at a senior level.

Role and Responsibilities

Provide administrative support to the UK Security Operations team:

  • Manage all Photography and Access Requests across UK Campus
  • Support all aspects of purchasing process (including raising PO, SAP management, travel bookings)
  • Plan stakeholder meetings to ensure campus security issues are resolved quickly
  • Maintain all UK Assignment Instructions, including quarterly reviews to ensure accuracy and relevance
  • In consultation with the Security Operations Manager (UK), maintain the roster to ensure all security posts are covered
  • Review all UK security incident reports (via AVA) and triage accordingly
  • Assist Shift Leads and Security Officers in uploading data to our security management systems (such as S2)
  • Support Shift Leads in delivering accurate audits and undertaking basic administrative duties
  • Provide support and coordination for new and existing UK security projects
  • Provide continuity in the smooth day-to-day running of Security Operations – specifically by supporting the Security Operations Manager (UK) during holiday/ absence
  • Manage supply of consumables (stationary, uniform etc.)
  • Accountable for vehicle fleet (currently two lease vehicles)
  • Provide additional day-to-day support, where required

  • Aptitude in using Microsoft software – Teams, Forms, SharePoint, Excel, Word
  • Dealing with difficult stakeholders and multitasking
  • Basic project management
