About us
Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain – Northern Europe, the Senior Supply Chain Manager DACH is responsible for the service level provided for all stakeholders, including B2B and B2C customers, as well as key internal stakeholders including the Managing Director/Country Manager, Head of Finance, Head of Direct- & Indirect Sales and Key Account Management teams. While leading the market Supply Chain team, he/she is accountable for inbound and/or allocations and outbound operations at our market (and satellite) warehouses.
About the role
Accountable for Logistical spend for market logistics in terms of cost per unit and overall budget and ensure cost control across the logistics function, including managing logistics POs and budget creation and monitoring process
3rd party retailer customer order management: ensure EDI integration and manual orders creation, secure booking slots and arrange deliveries on time, ensure that any issues (price/stock allocation/legal/etc) are resolved
3rd party retailer customer credit management and management of related disputes/charges
Ensure the eCommerce delivery experience is optimised, follow through the flow with the warehouse to ensure pick and pack, dispatch, delivery and invoicing on time, ensure that any issues (price/stock allocation/legal/etc) are resolved
Ensure Direct store fulfilment through orders placement, deliveries arrangement and returns management
Direct and Indirect (3rd party retailer customer) reverse logistics management guaranteeing returned orders are completed on time, customer are refunded, stock is reconciled, error/fraud in exchanges are fixed
Manage order book with market & warehouse to ensure outbound capacity
Management of Special Operations: quality reworks, late configuration reworks, replacement of damaged packaging, bundling, in/out trade material
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Activate participant and contributor in market leadership team
To manage the market Supply Chain team (Order Desk Manager/Order Desk coordinators, Logistics coordinators) against their roles, objectives and Dyson behaviours
To recruite, train, support and coach the market Supply Chain team
Contribute to the tendering/contracting process for all 3PLs/4PLs within the market, understand market offerings for alternative providers for 3PL and 4PL services
Understand customer propositions and expectations within the market, and align the Logistics function to support
Ensure 3PL/4PL capacity matches market requirements over the lifetime of the contract, especially at Peak periods. Provide meaningful forecast in order to make 3PL/4PL organize properly its space and operations
Monitor 3PL/4PL logistics costs and KPI’s supporting and pushing in reach higher performances within defined budget
Guide and monitor 3PL/4PL to operate in compliance with Dyson Profit Protection guidelines
Identify process changes for improving Logistics and Customer services, optimizing cost and increasing productivity. Ensure Continuous Improvement mentality is championed and implemented in Market Logistics. Ensure all processes are optimised, documented and followed
Secure overall orders fulfilment journey reporting on sales order dispatch status
Monitor customer delivery performance to guarantee service levels

About you
Technical:
5+ years of prior experience in similar role
Proven experience and passion in driving Supply Chain and Logistics processes
Strong knowledge on Supply Chain and Logistics Management methodologies
3PL & 4PL (contract management) experience and knowledge
Ability to build, lead and inspire a team
