About the role
The role will involve leading a team of Project Managers and SKU Range Engineers together with SKU Operation Product Engineers being dotted-line reporting to him/her and be responsible for the end-to-end SKU product lifecycle management and SKU development process for our Haircare category.
Additional Responsibilities include:
Main interface for Category VP/Director/Head/Cross Team Leadership to report risks, issues and opportunities of the SKU product lifecycle management and SKU development process. - This will be based on inputs from the yearly Ranging Process, IBP-PRM process and Current Support business review forum to govern efforts required for SKU PM, SKU Range and SKU Ops teams.
Identify key areas for improvement related to the SKU product lifecycle management and SKU development process. Example: clarification of grey areas of responsibilities, to improve process efficiency, integrity of SKU data for SKU reporting purposes.
Drive the development of these process improvements.
Provide recommendations to support decision making and formalise the process improvement.
Lead SKU Range to deliver the range reset that includes new SKUs and end-of-life products.
At least 8 years of experience in product/BOM management and certified as project manager.
Experience as a Product Manager within a engineering or operation function is crucial to ensure that you have a better understanding of the role.
Exposure to large volume of SKUs - above 200 will be ideal as the role involves a large number of SKUs.
Knowledge of home appliances/mechanical/electronic parts will be important for this role as the SKUs are inclusive of these parts.
