Dyson is a global research and technology company with engineering, research, development, manufacturing and testing operations in Singapore, the UK, Malaysia, Mexico, China and the Philippines. Having started in a coach house in the UK, Dyson has consistently grown since it was established in 1993. The Dyson Institute of Engineering and Technology is a new model for engineering education combining the academic rigor of a traditional university with hands-on and real-world experience of working on live product and technology projects inside a global technology company. Dyson’s 156 undergraduate engineers are paid a salary from day one and pay no tuition fees.
Founded in 2002, the James Dyson Foundation is an international charity that empowers aspiring engineers, supports engineering in education and invests in medical research, donating over £140m to charitable causes to date. The James Dyson Award is the Foundation’s annual international design competition and is open to current and recent design and engineering students. Since starting in 2005, the Award has supported more than 285 inventions, providing funds to support their commercialization.

Dyson Turkey
Dyson established our first office in Turkey, to be based in Istanbul on October 2018 and Dyson Türkiye has been launched in April 2019. Beginning with triple launch, Dyson relentlessly invests to grow in Turkish Floor Care, Hair Care and Environmental Care categories. The company, at the beginning with a small leadership team and full support from the Regional Hub and Group, is a growing company with the spirit of an energetic and passionate start-up. The exciting growth journey of Dyson in Turkey started and continues.
About the role
The social media manager will play a crucial role by developing and implementing end-to-end Dyson’s social media strategy and campaign management proces with the aim of increasing brand awareness and engagement.
This role will be focusing on all areas of management of social media accounts of Dyson Türkiye.
Main responsibilities
Create a monthly/annual content calendar by composing regular posting schedule and promote content through social media advertising to ensure brand consistency among all social media platforms.
Build content plans for product launches, campaigns, events, special dates, always on campaigns based on marketing calendar and seasonality and identify unique opportunities to elevate community conversation.
Ensure that creatives and messaging are aligned with global guidelines and strategies and Dyson Türkiye’s marketing agenda. Adapt text/copy for global posts.
Manage and oversee social media content by defining social media KPIs and measure the success of every social media campaign with driving followership as well.
Collaborate and liasing with Marketing, PR&Comms, Sales and Owner Experience teams to develop holistic creative communications campaigns.
Incorporate organic & paid social activities in order to maximize engagement; support influencer activities and initiate conversations and build relationships.
Design and deliver regular reports on the performance of our social engagement.
Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization.
Analyzing the long-term needs of the company’s social media strategy and offering regular reports to the management and executive teams.
Developing monthly reports on emerging social media trends and track social media reportings in a regular basis and share insights with all stakeholders.

About you
Experience and Education
4-5 years of experience, focused specifically on social media, multi-national brand experience is preferred.
Strong communication and presentation skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, Maths, Statistics or a related field.
Proven competency and knowledge of Instagram, Youtube, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and other social media best practices
Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and monitor performance tracking and determine improvements
Mindset
