Sr. Beauty Product Marketing Manager, GC

General purpose of the job

Owner of product portfolio and innovation launch calendars. A strong partner with global product development team on product proposition and innovation development. A leader to drive innovation landing from registration to cross channel product story development supported by consumer relevant claims.

Key responsibilities

  • Product portfolio and launch calendar owner:
  • Develop a 3-year launch calendars by integrating global innovation pipe-line, omni channel business occasions as well as local beauty trends.
  • Lead strategic category and hero products development building blocks.
  • New product launch and product innovation
  • New product launch planning: registration, forecast, stock management and post tracking in partnership with supply chain, Demand planning, and Sales
  • Lead the merchandizing plan for each campaign with omni channel needs
  • Lead local relevant product innovation ideation and drive via global innovation funnel.
  • Product Claim and Product Story Development
  • Lead product key claim and insights development in partnership with global product team and GC CSI and regulation.
  • Lead product story development by working with cross functions to build product story telling on omni channels.
  • Beauty Trends and Competitor Intelligence
  • Lead new product performance analysis, and actively integrate online and offline performance to drive business insights.
  • Lead competitor product analysis to enable defend and attack actions.
  • Lead GC consumer beauty trends/needs identification to provide insights for innovation development.
  • Requirements
  • 5-8 years working experience in an international beauty company
  • Proven record in beauty product marketing/consumer goods brand development role.
  •  Experience on band marketing, beauty retail, and EC marketing is a plus
  • Category strategic thinking and sensitive to trends.
  • Ability to interact positively and productively with regional
  • Good English communication and capability of strategic reporting/influencing
  • Hands-on mentality and a strong customer focus
  • Thrives in fast-paced, constantly changing environment
  • Be comfortable with technology and engineering world.
