About the role
The Store Manager's responsibilities include being a Company Brand Ambassador and a business leader responsible for overall store performance, guaranteeing an exceptional customer experience, being on the sales floor, leading and supporting all activities to achieve store goals.
The Store Manager is responsible for all processes
Managing and coaching the store team and ensuring succession plans and internal growth.
As a strong people manager, build, train, and lead a team. Behind the scenes, and will oversee the operations including inventory and visual merchandising.
Jointly with the Stores Manager you will monitor key metrics from traffic generated, to demos delivered to units sold to customer feedback. You will report results and recommend relevant actions to Stores Manager.
Support the Stores Manager to ensure all ideas and suggestions are being heard.
Recognize the performance needs that need to be addressed and consistently developed.
This role will always consider broader omnichannel implications when making decisions, leading to ensure that local decisions aren’t made that could affect or compromise other customer facing channels.
Definition and control of KPIs to generate success factors such as delivered demos, units sold, customer feedback, etc.
"Lead by example" and thereby create an environment in which our products are "brought to life"
Be present on the sales floor, ensuring a proper approach and service to the customers.
Leading the store team
Supports a fun, engaging and ambitious in store culture ensuring the team are involved, valued and recognised for their contribution and are regularly invited to share feedback to improve Store performance.
Establish and maintain a communication and engagement strategy to ensure Experts are fully informed of promotions/changes/current focuses.
Support with day-to-day people activities and resolve complex people situations.
Be able to spot and develop talent in Store to ensure a succession plan.
Creation of a positive, committed and goal-oriented working atmosphere including the involvement of the team
Create a feedback culture where constructive feedback and ideas cause a desired change or improvement
Implementation of a successful communication structure to ensure that the team is always fully informed about actions/changes/priorities
Lead the team to deliver exacting Retail standards throughout the store.
Training the store team
Ensure full compliance with Dyson's procedures and training by the entire sales team
Coach and implement development plans for all employees, in order to give them all the tools they need to achieve quantitative and qualitative results
Coach sales teams in the demonstration and promotion of our technologies.
Ensure the team is always prepared and updated on the Dyson main information, product knowledge, policies and procedures.
Continuously building product knowledge and keep updated of any product developments and supporting the store team to do so.
Operations and sales
Defines quantitative and qualitative objectives and ensures they are achieved by results analysis, verifying monthly activities and setting up yearly assessments
Analyses sales based on corporate reports, verifies the stocks of department and transmits daily such technical and stock information to the team
Responsibility for store inventory and visual merchandising
Foster a customer centric mindset by developing and maintaining solid customer relationships.
Guarantee an excellent customer satisfaction and the highest level of customer service.
Leading a high level of retail execution
Ensure highest degree of retail execution daily.
Build and maintain great relationships with internal and external partnerships to influence and contribute to the development of the business.
Drive the sharing and delivery of best practice.
Fully understands how to execute all Emergency Procedures and immediately seeks clarification when unsure. The safety of our customers and Experts is always our number one priority.
Is an expert on the content of the Operating Manual and ensures every element is executed, seeking advice when unsure.
Continually review results, establish clear measures, sharing insights and revise as needed to drive performance
Ensure that the Store image and product care are in line with corporate standards and secure that the Staff is responsible and committed to maintain these standards.

Never spend beyond the budgets agreed by your Stores Manager.
Meet the store-operating budget, controlling store expenses.
Seek opportunities to drive efficiencies and reduce spend.
Ensure all invoices are paid on time via system.
Keep thorough records for all processes.

Experienced in a Retail Leadership role
Desire and scope to progress further in career

Perfect command in English (both written and verbal) is required
