About the role
This role will be based in the Benelux and will rely on the ability to act as a business partner for the major Retail stakeholders ensuring Dyson Direct Physical Retail always delivers an exceptional brand experience.
The main objective of the role is to translate the Physical Direct strategy, set the operational standards for stores/MDZs and Concession. Manage all business platforms and programs, including communication direct to stores. The Operations Coordinator will work cross functionally, continuously gathering feedback and data to support long term process and performance improvements. This role is critical to deliver our ambitious physical direct plans while making our direct stores safe, efficient and compliant. The Operation Manager has to support day-to-day operations project efficiencies across the network.
Physical Direct Strategy
Translating the Physical Direct Strategy together with your manager into annual roll-out plan.
Determine new locations, do site visits, support on contract negotiations and business case creation.
Lead and project manage the process from strategy creation to delivery with internal and external stakeholders.
Managing the operational tasks related to new openings, and refurbishment processes ensuring timely follow up on action items for opening successfully on time and budget.
Manage new MDZ projects from planning to execution in the framework of the Direct physical retail expansion strategy and submission to exec including dedicated marketing plan for opening
Improve efficiencies or reduces workload in store
Physical Direct Operations
Managing stock allocation, update store forecast, supply of none finish good for the market and all store services contracts (rents, networks/energy, cleaning, security, etc.)
Coordinating System requirements with group : alarm, security, inventory, IT, Payment.
Managing store maintenance and procedures : legal maintenances, updates, ad hoc requests
Leading full PO process from budget to order delivery, and looking for optimized ways of doing things including processes & suppliers
Coordinate with all local & group key stakeholders the store activity calendar and execute all campaigns and NPD launches in the direct locations.
Physical Direct Support
Facilitates communication between remote based Physical Direct retail team and Head Office. This can involve investigating and resolving operational/execution issues.
Working closely with the Store Managers to drive best practices and operational excellence, support them with their needs
Follow the internal processes for new Experts & Stylists and set up with IT equipment
Liaise with head office functions at both local and global level to coordinate on-site activities including services, deliveries, events etc.
About you
Degree in business or similar.
Experience in retail, in roles related with operations, analysis, or marketing is a plus
Strong organizational and communication skills
Excellent analytical skills.
Able to engage with different stakeholders.
Organized and deadline orientated in an ever changing fast paced environment
Strong computer skills and ability to work effectively with Microsoft Office and Outlook; SAP will be preferable.
Proactive, problem solving and accurate.
A team player, but has the ability to work independently
Works well in a high pressure environment
Fluent in English, both spoken and written; other languages are a plus
Excellent knowledge of Excel and Power Point
Willing to travel up to 40 percent of the time during peak periods
